Do I need to be using AI tools already?

Which AI tools does this work with?

Any of them. The included setup guides are written specifically for ChatGPT Custom GPTs and Claude Projects, but your completed Voice Snapshot works as a system prompt or reference document in any tool or by any person - Gemini, Copilot, Perplexity, your VA's brief, your own writing.

Do I need a paid AI subscription?

For the Custom GPT setup, yes. Custom GPTs require a ChatGPT Plus subscription. For Claude Projects, you'll need a Claude Pro account. The Voice Snapshot itself works in any free tier; the paid features just make the setup easier to reuse.

How is this different from a brand voice guide?

A brand voice guide generally describes your voice in broad strokes - friendly, authoritative, warm. A Voice Snapshot is operational. It names the specific patterns, the words you never use, and the rules that make your style replicable by a tool or a person who isn't you.
